resolve custody issues and re-building a new family dynamic. Ron Ousky
also took a call from a viewer who asked how her son could divorce
without a lot of money. Mr. Ousky highly recommended gathering as
much free information as possible, so that the man could make informed

Collaboration
on Divorce, CBS Evening News, January 23, 2001
This piece, focusing on collaborative divorce, was featured on CBS
Evening News' Eye On America series with correspondent Jim Stewart.
The segment showed how one couple from the Twin Cities, along with
their collaborative lawyers, DivorceChoice.com Founder Ron Ousky and
DivorceChoice.com Advisory Board member Maury Beaulier, resolved their
divorce using the collaborative divorce process. The couple spent
$2-3 thousand dollars for their divorce versus the $15-20 thousand
dollar cost of many litigated divorces. Stuart Webb, DivorceChoice.com
Advisory Board Member and Founder of Collaborative Law explained that
the threat of getting a new attorney often motivates couples to resolve
their issues in the collaborative process without going to court.
