This segment featured Kare 11 News anchor Frank Vassalero interviewing Ron Ousky, founder of DivorceChoice.com. Mr. Ousky answered questions regarding the site's ability to help families at all stages of conflict, the role of mediation, and the ability of low-conflict solutions to resolve custody issues and re-building a new family dynamic. Ron Ousky also took a call from a viewer who asked how her son could divorce without a lot of money. Mr. Ousky highly recommended gathering as much free information as possible, so that the man could make informed choices regarding his divorce and the process he chose.

This piece, focusing on collaborative divorce, was featured on CBS Evening News' Eye On America series with correspondent Jim Stewart. The segment showed how one couple from the Twin Cities, along with their collaborative lawyers, DivorceChoice.com Founder Ron Ousky and DivorceChoice.com Advisory Board member Maury Beaulier, resolved their divorce using the collaborative divorce process. The couple spent $2-3 thousand dollars for their divorce versus the $15-20 thousand dollar cost of many litigated divorces. Stuart Webb, DivorceChoice.com Advisory Board Member and Founder of Collaborative Law explained that the threat of getting a new attorney often motivates couples to resolve their issues in the collaborative process without going to court.
